Hi, I'm Ava Coburn! For those who don’t know me, I am from Orange Beach, Alabama! This summer I am joing this race across the World because I believe Jesus is worthy of every nation, every soul, every heart, and every step of obedience. I am thrilled to share that I will be serving on mission in Jamaica for one month in the summer of 2026 with Adventures in Missions! For that month, I'll be living alongside a team of other young adults, engaging in hands-on ministry like outreach, discipleship, prayer, community support and disaster relief in response to Hurricane Melissa that hit on October 28, 2025. We'll be intentionally unplugged from many comforts to go all in for the sake of the Gospel. This opportunity is an answer to many prayers and a step of obedience to the call the Lord has placed on my life: to go, love, and serve wherever He leads me. My hope is to carry the Gospel with boldness, build meaningful relationships, and reflect Christ's love through both word and action. Isaiah 6:8 says, "Here I am, Lord. Send me." And that's the cry of my heart. Whether through prayer, encouragement, or financial support, I'd be so grateful to have you come alongside me in this mission. Your support means more than you know, and I can't wait to see how God moves in and through this journey.
